Alors qu'il fait une visite éclair à Minneapolis, Jef Lee Johnson, guitariste clé de la scène philadelphienne, jamme un soir au Bunker avec Sonny Thompson et Michael Bland.

Un ensemble trilogique naît alors instantanément, un power trio comme l’on dit. Le guitariste, un temps accompagnateur d’Aretha Franklin et guitariste fétiche de Common, Eryka Badu ou D’Angelo, livre une musique qui oscille entre rifs et solos, ombre stimulante et lumière éblouissante. Les trois hommes expriment leur amour du Duke Ellington et rendent hommage à Timothy Thomas, jeune Noir tué par la police de Cincinatti.
Pour le reste comme le dit la chanson titre : « J'ai fait une petite sieste et me suis retrouvé dans la jungle ».
